Time to Fight!!

I owe a debt of gratitude to God my Father for the many ways He has blessed me in the last several years. Jesus has blown my mind... when I did not believe that I deserved even His grace, I know He died on that cross for me and you too. I have no doubt about that now. but in a very weary season I could not hold on to life itself. I didn't care if I lived or died.

For a period of time 2000-2009 I had lost all purpose and hope, and was barely existing....I felt like a lost cause and a companion of spiritual fogginess enveloped my life that I was barely living.  I thought my future was a certain death.  It seemed during that period that going to church was not a option. I hated going alone.  I even tried and was shunned because no one understood that I had a mental illness. That made things even worse for me, I did not plan to walk into a church ever again after the devastation I went through during that aweful period.

What I want to share with you is the most amazing thing, deep insid…

Moving Forward

How can I help others to move forward in their walk in Jesus Christ?  It is my desire to help others through my writing. I pray that God leads those people to read my blog who are ready to get up off the ground level and move on up in their relationship with God.  If one person is moved and encouraged to get back up with the help of God, then His will has been done.
All of us have our seasons of successes and failures. That doesn't mean that we are failures.  Many of us are troubled with complications and addictions. Some of us struggle with severe illness. What ever has come against you or got you down. I want you to know that you can pull forward with God's help. Nothing in this world and flesh can stop you from going forward.
Hebrews 12:1-3 Since we are surrounded by so many examples of faith, we must get rid of everything that slows us down, especially sin that distracts us. We must run the race that lies ahead of us and never give up. We must focus on Jesus, the source…

Are you a Bench Warmer in God's Kingdom?

But at midnight, Paul and Silas were singing hymns and praying to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.  Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken, and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were loosed.  Acts 16:25-26
This event alone is a divine appointment of what can actually transpire today when we really worship God. I believe that so many of us fall short of a radical transforming move of God in how we worship Him. What happened to Paul and Silas can happen with you and me today in the church body.

God is no respecter of times or people. He is wanting us to experience radical revolution...A "Paul or Silas" is going to know what it will take place for a dynamite explosion like this today in the body of Christ, and will do what it takes for everyone in the church service to experience freedom. So many in the church body are sadly in a rutty stenchy prision and the chains of denominationalism…

Releasing Heavy Burdens...

For those of you who are carrying heavy burdens this day...the weight of the world seems heavy upon your shoulders. You are carrying the load of your sins upon your back like rocks in a backpack as you barely walk down the road of life.
At times you cannot take it as you pull yourself into the dark drop those sins for a second as you pick up another sin and the cycle of picking up the heaviness of sin continues on in your life.
The yoke of this world is very heavy, it is saying that you have to live with all your sins and mistakes and carry them through this life.
I have good news for you. Jesus Christ has come along beside you in this life and if you will just give him your heavy burdens, He will...yes HE WILL take that yoke of sin that is upon you as you knee before His majesty and glory.
You see Jesus was no mere man but He was allof God in bodily form, yes the SON OF GOD. HE took away the sins of this world and made you a overcomer!!!
You can give him those heavy burdens …

Stones, Serpents and Scorpions

At some point in our walk in Christ, we have to get to the vantage point of the revelation that the Father's ultimate direction and guidance engages us to 'listen' when He speaks. Why do we always have to question what He plainly tells us that we should or shouldn't do?
He does tell us 'no' in His own way at certain times in our lives.  He is a loving parent, who knows what is best for the well being for His children.  He does not need us to question "Why?"  He just challenges us to trust His will for all our lives.
When God tells us no, we can't work it into a 'yes' situation to suit our needs and really and truly get away with it, reaping what we are sowing. We have to submit to His will, no matter how difficult those times will be.  We should always seek His approval and direction to move forward.
We cannot put ourselves in God's position and make things happen the way we want them to.  Sometimes that makes the si…

Just One Drop...

The life flow that ran through the body of Jesus Christ, who was sacrificed at the cross of Calvary did not dry up in a grave and is no more.  The most powerful force that can ultimately free us from the chains of sin and death did not die forever. It is alive forevermore and through it we obtain our deliverance and salvation. It is the blood of the Jesus that washes us and gives us victory over sins.
As the song goes,"Oh the blood of Jesus, that washes us white as snow!"   The blood is like soap to our souls.  It is a deep cleaning agent of all our sins and impurities. Its cleanness is compared to the whiteness of snow.  When we accept Jesus into our hearts, His blood goes to work. We can rest in faith in the finished work of the cross of Christ in our heart.

God showed us that Christ is the throne of mercy where God's approval is given through faith in the blood...In his patience God waited to deal with sins committed in the past. Romans 3:25

Our past life has bee…

Why Am I Here??

Why are you here on this earth? God has strategically set you up in the place you are in for a good reason.  No one else can fill your shoes.  No one can tell your story of light like you can.  You hold the keys to that door. You have the power to open that door, or close it... The keys to the kingdom are not hidden from your sight.  Jesus went to the grave to get those keys for you. Don't hide your story from those around you...
There are doors that only you can open.  Don't you think it is time to stop trying to hide your testimony?  As a christian you are not of this world. Let your light shine so that the people around you will see that the hand of God's blessing is upon you.  They will be drawn to the light inside you. That light is Jesus!
When you accepted Jesus as your Savior, you let Him, by your own choice, into the door of your heart.  Don't shut Jesus out of your life, He can do so much in and for you!  It is never too late to open the door of your …

Stepping In Faith

How many of us have fallen from grace, and not got back up? We wallowed in self-pity and whined like a little piggy.  We also wondered about 'Joe' over there, who seems to be so confident, taking steady-strides in his walk with God--making life look so easy. Well, have you ever talked to Joe? You may be surprised to see that there is not much difference between you and him. He wasn't born with great confidence or that determination to keep going.
As Christians, When we are born again into the Kingdom of God, we have to make those steps up certain mountains to get to our destination before its 'our time' to go home. God has put in your heart as a christian, certain goals and responsibilities, and we cannot give up if we fall and take ourselves out of God's will.  Not everyone has those same ambitions. We cant compare our life to Joe's life. Some of us have done that at one point in our life.
We may step out of His will at times, but we never step out…

Let Go of the Rope....

God is always working behind the scenes on our behalf. It may seem to you that He is not there or is distant. He knows us better than we know ourselves.  It does not mean that God is against you. It doesn't mean He does not care for everything that concerns you.
What it means is that He is moving things around; aligning situations and circumstances because He wants the best for you.  You may not  hear his voice or see that right now in your life in the flesh or in your physical surroundings.
Whether we care to admit it or not, there is a invisible and spiritual world around us. Jesus desires to bring us into His victory that He has set forth for us even when there seems to be no physical evidence of it.  God is working in the invisible realm around us to bring our deliverance into the physical realm. He is not a "convenient-store" God catering to please our flesh...or get it when we want it. He has a order and a plan. We can set up a plan but it is ultimately He …
